About Scott Gildner

Scott Gildner is recognized among the thought leaders in the human resources outsourcing marketplace. Scott has over 20 years of direct experience as a service provider executive, independent sourcing consultant, and sourcing advisory executive. In the 1990’s, he was one of the pioneers of the benefits outsourcing marketplace, playing a significant role in the establishment of the total benefits outsourcing (TBO) industry. In 1997, he founded his own consulting practice, Gildner & Associates, which became widely known as the leading source of HR outsourcing (HRO) consulting expertise. Scott merged his company with TPI in 2005, where he joined the executive board and helped build the world’s largest and premier sourcing advisory company. He was promoted to President of TPI’s North American operations, providing him with insights relative to service provider strengths, weaknesses, and competitive advantages across all services, industries, and locations around the globe.

Now Scott seeks to apply this unique set of experiences and knowledge to help clients and the outsourcing service provider community refine and optimize their HR business strategies.

During his career, Scott has participated in over 300 consulting engagements for over 100 organizations within the Global 1000. He is recognized and respected throughout the outsourcing marketplace and has a reputation for expertise, fairness and discretion which allows him to navigate the most complex and sensitive topics for clients and service providers.

Scott is a graduate from the Honors College at Michigan State University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He is the co-author of Outsourcing Human Resources Functions, published by the Society for Human Resources Management. And he was recognized by the Human Resources Outsourcing Association as the "Thought Leader of the Year" in 2008.
